News Releases COLUMBUS HOUSE ELECTS GREGORY DESTEFANO TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS NORTH HAVEN, CT (July 24, 2009) – Valley United Way, in Shelton, has elected Gregory P. DeStefano, principal of Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C., to its Board of Directors. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. DeStefano serves as his firm’s chief financial officer and oversees its technology planning function. Mr. DeStefano, who earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Connecticut State University, has been practicing accounting for more than 20 years and serves clients in construction and various industries. He is a resident of Shelton. Active in several community outreach initiatives, DeStefano is a member of the Shelton-Derby Lions Club, treasurer for the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors for Columbus House in New Haven.
