LOCAL ACCOUNTING FIRM REMEMBERS THE PAST AND CHALLENGES THE FUTURE

MIDDLEBURY, CT (June 22, 2009) – Armand Rossi, managing partner of Konowitz, Kahn & Company P.C., will attend the JHI Region of Americas conference “Remember the Past: Challenge the Future,” in San Antonio, Texas, this week.

The conference presents an opportunity for idea exchange and business development and will feature famous speakers, including Dean Zerbe, former Tax Counsel of the Senate Finance Committee, and writer/speaker Stephen Lundin, author of the multimillion copy best seller, Fish!

“We have a rich history at our firm,” says Rossi, whose employees include the grand-daughter of the original founder of the 73-year-old firm. “With our training and technology investments and our many long-standing client relationships, we have a bright future.” Many of those client relationships came to be serviced by Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C. with the acquisition of DeAngelis, Lombardi & Kelly, CPAs, LLC, of Waterbury, several years ago.

With offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific, JHI is a leading international association for independent business advisors, financial consulting and accountancy firms. A worldwide network of approximately 130 member firms in 55 countries, JHI members are respected leaders, offering a broad range of accounting, auditing and management consultancy services in every business sector.

Konowitz Kahn & Company, P.C. is a leading provider of accounting and financial management and consulting services including accounting, auditing, tax, wealth management, business valuations, trust and estate accounting, forensic and litigation support, family office services, and cost segregation. With offices in North Haven and Middlebury, Conn., the firm has been serving closely held mid-market businesses in diverse industries locally and globally since 1936.
