Tax Director
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the critical role of Tax Director.
The Tax Director will:
- manage our tax functions, operations and compliance processes
- manage and direct tax staff; provide high level tax advice for closely-held businesses and high net worth clients
- provide tax planning and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Candidate must:
- possess a track record developing strong client relationships
- have excellent technical skills, analytical judgment, excellent communication skills
- be able to collaborate with firm partners, clients, and attorneys to formulate custom solutions for clients with complex and diverse needs
- write articles, deliver training to staff on tax matters, attend various networking events to cultivate business and referral relationships, and conduct presentations at seminars occasionally
Qualifications: CPA certification, Bachelors degree; MBA/MST, LL.M. a plus; minimum 10 years recent experience in taxation and public accounting. Experience in international tax law desirable.
