Burton H. Slossberg, CPA





Burton H. Slossberg, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a principal of Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C., specializing in business, individual and fiduciary taxation, as well as estate and pension planning.

Mr. Slossberg began his accounting career in 1960. In 1967, he became a partner of Alpert and Slossberg. In 1985, he established the firm of Slossberg and Sachs, when Mr. Joel M. Sachs became a partner. In 1993, Slossberg, Sachs & Milone, LLC, was formed when Mr. Ronald R. Milone joined the firm. In 2002, his firm merged with Konowitz, Kahn & Company.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Mr. Slossberg has maintained a strong philosophy of community commitment. He has supported various civic and professional organizations, including serving as president for the New Haven Certified Public Accountants, which provided educational seminars for local CPAs.

Additionally, Mr. Slossberg has served as a committee member for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), and is a past member of the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Sholom. He is a past president and current trustee of The Jewish Home For Children Foundation.
