Burton H. Slossberg, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), serves as a principal
emeritus at Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C., specializing in business, individual and fiduciary taxation, as well as estate and pension planning.
Mr. Slossberg began his accounting career in 1960. Over the years, he partnered with other professionals, establishing the firms of Alpert and Slossberg in 1967, Slossberg and Sachs in 1985, and Slossberg, Sachs and Milone, LLC in 1993. In 2002, his firm merged with Konowitz, Kahn & Company, bringing Joel M. Sachs and Ronald R. Milone with him.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Mr. Slossberg has maintained a strong philosophy of community commitment and has supported various civic and professional organizations. He has served as president for the New Haven Certified Public Accountants, which provided educational seminars for local CPAs. Additionally, Mr. Slossberg has been a committee member for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), and is a member of the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Sholom. He is a trustee and past president of The Jewish Home for Children Foundation.
