David L. Reynolds, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), has been a principal of Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C., since 1989. Prior to joining the firm in 1984, he served as auditor/investigator for a commodity futures exchange and held various other accounting positions.
Today at Konowitz, Kahn & Company, Mr. Reynolds is the firm's personnel principal, which includes responsibility for staff recruitment, staff development and mentoring. His diverse client base represents industries including manufacturing, waste hauling/environmental services, professional services, real estate operations, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, and the not-for-profit sector. In addition, Mr. Reynolds currently calls on his CFE credentials as director of The KK&Co. Financial Investigation Services Group.
A graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, Mr. Reynolds is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA); and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) at both the national level as well as the Connecticut chapter, where he serves as vice president. Mr. Reynolds is committed to various professional and philanthropic initiatives, including service as president, campaign chair, treasurer and board member of the Middlesex United Way; service as president, treasurer and secretary of the Clinton Lions Club; advisory board member of Schooner, Inc.; and advisory board member of the Quinnipiac University School of Business.
