James Sabio, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a principal of Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C. He is responsible for intricate individual, estate and tax returns, as well as supports an extensive range of clients across various industries, including manufacturing, construction, professional services, and real estate.
A public accounting veteran, Mr. Sabio entered the field in 1966 upon earning his Associate's degree in accounting from Post College. In 1975, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Quinnipiac University. Prior to joining Konowitz, Kahn & Company in 1998, Mr. Sabio was a partner of DeAngelis, Lombardi & Kelly, CPAs, LLC.
Active in many professional organizations, Mr. Sabio is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), and the Institute of Management Accountants. Mr. Sabio is active in many non-profit and community associations and is currently a member of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, Waterbury Chapter of UNICO National, he is a past president and currently treasurer of the Naugatuck Lodge of Elks #967, and serves on the financial council of St. Anthony’s Church, Prospect, CT.
