Matthias Strilbyckij, MBA, CPA, CFE

Matthias Strilbyckij, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is a principal of Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C., serving a broad client base that includes manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, professional services, construction, and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Strilbyckij has been in public accounting since 1981, joining Konowitz, Kahn & Company in 1985 where he was promoted to principal in 1999. Mr. Strilbyckij is the quality control partner for auditing and accounting engagements for the firm.

A graduate of Iowa State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, Mr. Strilbyckij continued his education, earning a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of New Haven. In 2005, he received certification as a fraud examiner.  Mr. Strilbyckij is also registered and licensed as a CPA in the state of New York.

Mr. Strilbyckij is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), as well as various manufacturing organizations, employee benefits committees and The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce manufacturers committee. In addition, Mr. Strilbyckij has served as treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Tabor Community Arts Center in Branford, Connecticut since 2000.
