Founded in 1936 as a sole proprietorship, Konowitz, Kahn & Company, P.C. is one of Connecticut’s leading providers of specialized accounting and financial management services for mid-market companies. Today, with a staff of nearly 40, the firm provides a wide range of Accounting, Auditing, Tax, Wealth Management, Business Valuations, Trust and Estate Accounting, Forensic and Litigation Support, Family Office Services, and Cost Segregation to clients both locally and globally.

For over 70 years, the firm's basic philosophy has been to build partner-level relationships and deliver outstanding service based on thorough knowledge of each client’s business and industry.  Knowledge and understanding are essential for the firm to be able to make solid recommendations for growth and prosperity.  Konowitz, Kahn & Company goes beyond compliance.  Through a team approach, the firm uses its strong technical skills and resources to respond quickly with innovative and creative solutions to each individual business problem as it arises.

All of Konowitz, Kahn & Company’s full-time professional staff are either Certified Public Accountants or Certified Public Accountant candidates.  The professional skills of the staff are maintained and developed through required participation in on-going continuing education programs.  The principals of the firm are all members ofthe American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), as well as various civic, not-for-profit, business and charitable organizations.
