Qualified Production Cost Audit for the Connecticut Film Credit

The Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism requires an independent audit of qualified production expenses to ensure compliance with Section 12-217jj of the Connecticut General Statutes regarding digital media and motion picture tax credits.

A project is divided into three phases: pre-production, production and post-production. As such, an audit of the detailed cost report must be performed by an independent certified public accountant and paid for by the production company/tax credit applicant prior to the issuance of a production tax credit certificate.
